Popof, aged 29, is a french electro composer/arranger and also the owner of several labels like Kameezol, XXX and Psychobomb. He represented the label Gazole on Uwe100 compilation with 5 leading personal tracks and published a 12" : Gazole 04. He also released many records on famous other labels and most of his tracks appeared on the monthly UWe compilations. Popof is especially known by the general public because of his appartenance to the french collective Heretik. Since 1996, they organized a lot of raves all over the country and made a name through their gatherings of around 10.000 people in the framework of techno music events. Popof often played with Noisebuilder during live performances in France as for example at Batofar, Rex Club, Fête de l'Humanité (with Charles Schillings, Demon and Alex Gopher) or the festival of current Panoramic music. Later, he created Wee-Kids, an electro live act with DJ Djedjotronic, and they published releases on Level 75 and Martin Eyerer's Session Deluxe. Today, his sound turns more minimal and he confirms his skills by signing on Absolut Freak, Turbo, Skryptöm and Thomas Heckmann's AFU.
