Absolut Freak Records

East France native, Nicolas Chenard started producing electronic music in the very late 80's. Inspired by the Amiga/Atari demo-scene, the teen learnt the basis of cheap sampling, working on his 8-bits sampler and Amiga500 trackers.
Enjoying the huge electronic & rave culture of the 90's, he spent his time experimenting lots of musical styles, improving his knowledge and passion for musical engines.
In the late 90's, Nicolas is playing his hard-house/electro live in clubs and parties of his suburb, then have his first house vinyl released in 1999.
In 2005, Nicolas Chenard and Frederic De Carvalho decide to launch their own label Absolut Freak Records, which began with Nicolas' "Thriller Express EP", also remixed by John Lord Fonda (Citizen Rec).
As an eclectic composer, Nicolas produces also music for video games, multimedia applications and orchestral music for video productions, and is always looking for interesting projects.
